Our Patient and Public Engagement Committee (PPEC) has been set up to make sure the patient voice informs the decision making of the CCG.  PPEC provides advice and guidance on the CCG’s approaches to patient and public engagement and reviews how engagement has been used to influence decisions made by the CCG. PPEC’s membership reflects the diverse make-up of the population of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

The Chair and Vice-Chair of PPEC have been appointed by the CCG.  The Chair is a non-executive director of the Governing Body and a member of the Quality and Performance Committee. The Vice-Chair is a member of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Steering Group.  Both provide strong links between PPEC and the CCG’s governance arrangements.

PPEC meets every month and the meeting schedule is available here.

PPEC’s Terms of Reference set out its objectives and are available here.

For further information please email nnccg.team.engagement@nhs.net.

Further information about the important role of the Patient and Public Engagement Committee is included in the CCG’s Constitution and Governance Handbook.
