This week has seen our vaccination programme continue to make excellent progress. So far, 519,368 vaccinations have now been delivered in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, with 48,016 vaccines administered in the last week alone.

The NHS is urging anyone who qualifies for a jab, but has not yet received one, to book an appointment in the next few days before slots dry up. Those who are currently eligible include over 50s, frontline health and social care workers as well as those who are clinically vulnerable and carers. Read more here.

Hospitals

• We have seen 55 admissions relating to Covid-19 in the seven days to 28 March, which compares to 68 in the previous 7-day period.
• We have 128 beds occupied by Covid+ patients as of the 28 March, this compares to 176 on 23 March.
• Of those 176 beds, 9% were mechanically ventilated.
• In the week from 25-31 March there were 6 deaths in our hospitals down from 11 in the previous week.

Vaccinations

• Latest data shows that in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire we have administered 519,368 vaccinations (8 December – 28 March), with 48,016 in the last week.
• A breakdown of the figures, alongside ONS population estimates, show vaccines have been administered to 96.1% of people aged 80+, 100% of people aged 75-79, 97.4% of people aged 70-74, 92.2% of people aged 65-69,  95.6% of people aged 60-64, 92.0% of people aged 55-59 and 85.2% of people aged 50-54.
