The local NHS continues to urge the public to get vaccinated to protect themselves, and those around them, from Covid-19. With case rates in the community and hospital admissions continuing to rise it is very important the public protects themselves with a Covid-19 jab.
Those who are eligible for a Covid-19 jab include:
- Children aged 5-11
- Young people aged 12-15 are eligible for 2 doses
- Anyone aged 16 or over is eligible for 2 doses and a further booster
- Adults aged 75 and over, residents in care homes for older people and those age 12 and over with a severely weakened immune system are eligible for a spring booster.
Book your Covid-19 jab: You can book on the NHS website or call 119.
