The NHS is urging the public to make sure they are protected ahead of winter. Whether it is the flu jab, your first or second Covid-19 vaccine or a Covid-19 booster jab, please do make sure you get protected ahead of Winter, if you are eligible.
Boosters:
Booster jabs are being offered to over 50s, people over 16 with a health condition that puts them at high risk of getting seriously ill from Covid-19, and health and social care workers. These groups can have their booster once six months has passed since their second dose. Those eligible for a booster vaccination can book an appointment on the NHS website or walk into selected sites to receive a jab without an appointment. For information about walk-in site opening times, please visit www.nhs.uk/grab-a-jab
12-15s:
Children aged 12-15 are also being offered one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. These are being carried out in schools but clinics are being held at our Covid-19 vaccination centres too. You can book an appointment on the NHS website or walk in. For information about walk-in site opening times, please visit www.nhs.uk/grab-a-jab
First and Second doses:
Vaccination sites across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire continue to offer appointments for first and second doses. Those who have not yet taken up the offer have not been forgotten, there is a vaccine waiting for them. Anyone 16 and over can see the latest opening times to walk in here, or book an appointment, online or by calling 119.
Flu:
