All vaccination sites across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire are offering walk-in appointments for all those 18 and over for first and second doses. Second doses will be available for those who had their first dose 56 days (8 weeks) ago. People aged 16 and 17 can walk into selected walk-in sites. The public can see the latest site opening times on the website or alternatively can book an appointment online or by calling 119.

Hospitals

• We have seen 89 admissions relating to Covid-19 in the seven days to 8 August, which compares to 92 in the previous 7 day period
• We had 131 beds occupied by Covid+ patients on 10 August, this compares to 137 on 3 August
• Of those 131 beds, 16% (22 beds) were mechanically ventilated
• In the week from 5 – 11 August there were 7 deaths, which compares to 13 the previous week

• June saw 522,336 GP appointments with 57% being face-to-face and 51% being the same day or next

Vaccinations

• Latest figures (8 December – 8 August) show in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire 19,497 vaccines have been administered in the last week. In total, 1,282,191 vaccinations have now been administered with 578,079 of these being second doses
• A breakdown of the figures, alongside ONS population estimates, show vaccines have been administered to 94.7% of people aged 80+, 100% of people aged 75-79, 98% of people aged 70-74, 93.5% of people aged 65-69,  99.1% of people aged 60-64, 97.1% of people aged 55-59, 91.6% of people aged 50-54, 84.5% of people aged 45-49 and 88.8% of people aged 40-44, 82.8% of people aged 35-39, 78.6% of people aged 30-34, 61.7% of people aged 25-29, 62.2% of people aged 18-24 and 1.7% of people under the age of 18.
• Second doses have been administered to 93% of people aged 80+, 100% of people aged 75-79, 96.9% of people aged 70-74, 92.1% of people aged 65-69,  96.5% of people aged 60-64, 94.1% of people aged 55-59, 88.4% of people aged 50-54, 78.9% of people aged 45-49 and 79.4% of people aged 40-44, 63.8% of people aged 35-39, 52.5% of people aged 30-34, 29.1% of people aged 25-29, 18.5% of people aged 18-24 and 0.5% of people under the age of 18.
