The NHS is urging the public to make sure they are protected against Covid-19 ahead of winter. The virus has not gone away and our hospitals are still seeing people who are being admitted with Covid-19.
Over 50s and people over 16 with a health condition that puts them at high risk of getting seriously ill from Covid-19 are being urged to book their booster jabs. The public can book an appointment on the NHS website or by calling 119.
All 12-15 year-olds are being offered one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at their school through the School Aged Immunisation Team. To make sure we do all we can to reach children aged 12-15 clinics are also being held at specific sites and appointments which can be booked on the NHS website.
