The spring booster programme is underway, and the NHS is helping to top up the immunity of the most vulnerable to protect them from Covid-19. Adults aged 75 and over, residents in care homes for older people and those age 12 and over with a severely weakened immune system are being invited to book a spring booster vaccine if they are eligible.
The local NHS continues to urge unvaccinated people to get vaccinated to protect themselves, and those around them, from Covid-19. With case rates in the community and hospital admissions continuing to rise it is very important the public protects themselves with a Covid-19 jab.
Those who are eligible for a Covid-19 jab include:
Book your Covid-19 jab: You can book on the NHS website or call 119.
Walk-in for a Covid-19 jab: Find your nearest walk-in venue.
