NHS bosses are encouraging the public to make sure they are protected ahead of the summer period by making sure they have had their Covid-19 vaccinations. With thousands of people looking forward to trips and events this summer, the vaccine offers the best chance of reducing significant illness and ensuring plans can go ahead.

Hospitals
- We have seen 54 admissions in the seven days to 5 June, which compares to 44 in the previous 7-day period
- We had 119 beds occupied by Covid+ patients on 7 June, this compares to 106 beds on 31 May
- Of those 119 beds, 2 people were mechanically ventilated and in the most critical condition
- In the week from 3 – 9 June there were 8 deaths, which compares to 9 the previous week
General Practice
- Latest data shows that in April there were 447,198 GP appointments with 64 per cent of these being face-to-face and 51 per cent of patients being seen the same day or next.
Vaccinations
- Latest figures show in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire 2,133,232 vaccinations have been administered since the start of the programme.
- 85.9 per cent of over 18s have now received 2 doses.
- 69.5 per cent of over 18s have had a booster dose.
- 70.4 per cent of 16-17 year olds have had a Covid-19 jab
- 57.7 per cent of 12-15s have had a Covid-19 jab
- 9 per cent of 5-11s have had a Covid-19 jab
