The Forest Recreation Ground Vaccination Site will be temporarily closing in order to prepare it for the winter months ahead.

The current site is made up of portacabins and also uses outdoor spaces as part of the facility.

Ahead of the winter period we want to make sure we provide the best possible service to the public and as part of this we would like to prepare the site for the colder months ahead. 

This work will include expanding the inside space and ensuring that the site is suitable for cold and wet periods of time. 

As a result, the site will be closing on 21 September from 8pm. We expect the site to be closed for up to four weeks.

Whilst the site is closed, alternative provision for first and second vaccinations is available locally at:

• The Karimia Mosque and Community Space in Hyson Green, Nottingham, NG7 5JU (9.30am to 3.30pm Monday – Thursday)
• Community pharmacies (including Boots in the Victoria Centre)
• Gamston Vaccination Site until 16^th October
• Richard Herrod vaccination Site until 17th October
