The Covid-19 vaccination booking programme has opened up to people aged 38 and above.
If you are eligible, you can book your Covid-19 vaccination appointment by calling 119 or visiting the National Booking Website.
Amanda Sullivan, Accountable Officer for NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “From today, the Covid-19 vaccine will be offered to those aged 38 and over as well as those in older age groups.
“I would like to remind the public to book their vaccines if they haven’t done so already. If you’re 38, 39 or any age above that you can now get your vaccine. If you are in previous cohorts and you haven’t already booked, you have not missed your opportunity, there will be a vaccine waiting for you.
“Please call 119 or visit the website to book a vaccine at the most convenient location to you. Our vaccination sites are open from 8am to 8pm seven days a week to make booking an appointment as easy as possible for those who have busy working weeks. There are plenty of appointments available across the next few weeks and we have enough vaccine for everyone.
“The Covid-19 vaccine is safe, simple, and will offer you and those around you the best protection against this virus. It is never too late to change your mind if you have previously said no.”
People currently eligible include those aged 38, or who turn 38 before 1 July 2021, clinically vulnerable, clinically extremely vulnerable, health and social care workers and carers.
To book a vaccine, please call the National Booking Service on 119 or use the National Booking Website link.
