Walk-in Covid-19 jabs are available this weekend in Nottingham and Mansfield – and anyone currently eligible is invited!
The Pfizer vaccine at either the Forest Recreation site (Forest Recreation Vaccination Centre, Gregory Boulevard, NG7 6AQ) or Mansfield Vaccination Centre (134 Chesterfield Road, NG19 7AP). Both the sites will be open from 8am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday offering walk-in appointments to anyone eligible for their first dose.
Those currently eligible include any member of the public aged 25 and over as well as those who are clinically vulnerable, clinically extremely vulnerable and carers.
With temperatures set to soar over the weekend, please remember to wear a hat, put on suncream and bring water as you may have to queue.
Mansfield
The free shuttle bus will depart from the Bus Station on the hour and half hour between 08:00 and 18:00. It will be marked Vaccination Shuttle Bus and bus station staff will be able to direct you to the service. It will stop a short distance from the vaccination station.
